This policy explains what information Legal in Texas collects when you visit legalintexas.com, how it is used, and the choices you have. Last updated October 23, 2026.
Information we collect
When you email us. If you contact us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write. We use it only to read and reply to your message, and to correct a guide if you report an error.
Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical details for each visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of the request. These server logs are used to keep the site secure and working, and are kept only as long as needed for that purpose.
Search. Words you type into the site search are used to show results. They are not linked to your identity.
Cookies and tracking
We do not currently use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not build profiles of visitors. Our fonts are served from our own server, so loading a page does not send your information to a font provider. If we add analytics or advertising in the future, we will update this policy before it takes effect.
How we share information
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only with service providers that run the site, such as our web host and email provider, and when the law requires it.
Your choices
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, or to delete it, by emailing us. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Children
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
